Joanne started her art with Dave Court as the first mentor artist in 2019, beyond art therapy. He encouraged Jo to explore different mediums and engage joyfully. Dave introduced Jo to Hari Houtlakis to expand her artistic experience further in Hari’s beautiful garden studio. Jo’s art practice started to emerge with Hari’s mentorship.

The connection to Dave and Hari allowed Jo to be involved in their art community with more artists. Mentorship with diverse artists has given Jo to grow and experience socially and culturally valued opportunities.

Now, Jo works with three artists, Hari, Michael and Loren, to learn and exchange artistic aspirations and joyful moments together.
