Babavillage Animation
Babavillage was created and developed by Jung Yoon (Founder of Co-art Studio), a Korean-Australian author and creator, who is a mother of a child with complex disabilities. She wanted to create an opportunity for children, their parents and people to embrace their uniqueness, diversity, friendship, tolerance, inclusion and respect for each other.
Babasheep in Babavillage have many curiosities to learn about new things, new friends and new adventures like all our children do!
Introducing babasheep friends
BORI - Bori’s bluebells help her to hear birds singing and friends’ voice. Bori is kind and warm, like spring weather. Bori loves baking butterflies and birds. She bakes muffins for her babasheep friends. Bori enjoys eating muffins together.
GOMMI - Gommi has brown spots and cute freckles. She is a lovely dancing star and a musician. Gommi can turn anything into a musical instrument. She makes beautiful flute sounds with a leaf. Gommi stays positive in any situation, but… sometimes she feels lonely.
JAMBO - Jambo is wearing a cape and always dreams of flying in the blue sky and jumping over clouds. Jambo is a slow thinker and talker but believes he can fly faster than anyone! Today, he is having a nap and dreams of being a superhero!
KENZI - Kenzi is always curious about what’s happening in the village. He thinks he is smart and clever. He wants to teach his friends about new things and give them good solutions to their problems, but not always his friends like his ideas. Whatsoever he is still proud of being himself!
MANGCHI - Mangchi loves soccer, and his ball is his best friend. Mangchi runs and jumps around the village all day and sometimes makes trouble. Mangchi also loves helping his friends and is the first one to be there for his friends when they are in trouble!
WINNIE - Winnie loves caring for her Babavillage friends, flowers and plants. She feels sad when others feel sad, and she feels happy when others feel happy. Winnie becomes so sad and worried when her flowers and plants are not healthy.
nOT DIFFERENT BUT UNIQUE
BABAVILLAGE aims to create stories that parents want to share with their children to think and imagine. This animation project introduces characters for children to see themselves in the characters. The animation creates visual effects for children to stimulate their imagination and creativity.
